Robot Repatriation

Searching for the truth in a world filled with biases.

Robot Repatriation is a deduction game in which the player has to identify the robot, that caused a fire.

The objectiveis to listen to the robots stories, collect information from other biased sources and differentiate between truth and lie.

Robot Repatriation was created during a Game Jam about “BIAS”, through the European Game Science Lab, in coorparation with The BAU University in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Movement: Players can navigate through the factory's repatriation area by walking or jumping.

Smooth Camera Look: The smoothed camera system allows for precise but soft adjustments in view, helping avoid motion sickness. Your target direction is determined by raw mouse input, while the final view direction is softly interpolated to ensure it’s responsive and smooth yet calm and clear.

Interact (Pick Up/Drop/Inspect/Use): Players can directly engage with items in the world by picking them up or placing them down as needed. They can also inspect other items to gather information or use them on the spot when necessary.

Talk: Engage in conversations with robotic characters who provide important insights into situations that need investigation. By clicking on a robot, players initiate dialogue where the character shares its current state of affairs. Clicking again causes the robot to repeat its previous statement.
